Paperwork Updates!

Just when you thought it was mostly over…

 

Turns out that not all of the documents in the dossier remain current! We have had to update our home study and our medical records. You know what that means…three more trips to the counties for certification (yes, they are all different counties!) and then onto the state for its certification and then back to the Vietnamese Consulate for authentication!

Luckily my hubby had a few days off this week during the week and spent time running around to those familiar places. At least this time he knew the drill, what room held the person to talk to, and the fees for each. It was like he had been there before – an old pro!

So, we should have the updated documents out to Vietnam within in the next two weeks and then — yep — you guessed it — more waiting!

My niece and nephew arrived today and it has been a Wii marathon ever since we returned from getting ice cream! It really is a fun game. We will be taking it to the beach with us for some family fun! And its not bad exercise either!
